Description
Small deciduous shrub to 6 feet high, with pale brown peeling bark. Leaves opposite, wide, serrate, and light green. White flowers about .5 inches across with 5 petals. Intensely fragrant and showy clusters of waxy, white flowers. Flaking, reddish-brown bark. Heavy-textured, green foliage transforms to brilliant orange and pink tones in the autumn.
