USDA PLANT HARDINESS ZONES

The following map is a generalized version of the US Department of Agriculture's Plant Hardiness Zones map. The colors indicate varying growing zones. First, find where you live (approximately) on the map, and use the color key on the right to determine your hardiness zone(s). The ratings listed under "Hardiness" in the plant descriptions correspond with this map. These zones are very much a generalization. Your landscape has its own characteristics which should be taken into consideration when using this map. Generally, plants on either size (lower or higher) of your hardiness zone will still survive.
